As I continue my journey into knitting pattern making, I fell in love with seamless headbands (as you may have been able to tell). The grafting in pattern has been a bit of a challenge, but is so satisfying when it’s finished. Not only does it create a beautiful, impressive headband, it feels like magic when it all comes together.
So continuing with my seamless headband series, I created this adorable pattern that utilizes two of my favorite stitch patterns, bobble stitch and seed stitch (hence the name). Surrounded in a gorgeous cable pattern, worked flat and grafted together, it creates a wonderful headband, perfect for cold weather.
For this pattern, you’ll need:
- 1 skein of Loops & Threads Creme Cotton or yarn of choice – medium weight (4)
- At least 1 ½ yards of scrap yarn – medium weight
- US size 4 (3.5 mm) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge
- Cable Needle
- Tapestry Needle
- US size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook
The skills you’ll need are provisional cast on, cable knitting, bobble stitch, and grafting in pattern.
This is a premium pattern rather than a free one, but in keeping with the spirit of making yarn crafting accessible, it’s an affordable price.
You can purchase the pattern on ravelry.
For a limited time, I’m offering $1 off this pattern for my readers. Enter code SCCBOBBLES or click here to add it automatically. Discount ends September 19th.
I have a few more patterns already in the works to come out soon. It was a long break from this blog, but I’m so happy to be back and feeling very inspired. I hope you enjoy knitting this pattern as much as I enjoyed making it!
Happy knitting!
