Amanda’s Hat is a fun, loose fit fair isle slouchy hat. Featuring pooping pigs, it’s a perfect quirky hat great for all season.
I initially knitted this hat for my sister, Amanda, who absolutely loved it. It’s comfortable, fun, and is a blast to make.
While it can be made with any color working style, I recommend using two handed stranded knitting and a knitting thimble, especially on rows with three colors. It makes knitting this hat so much easier and keeps the yarn from tangling up. Also, it’s important to remember to trap your floats so your gauge stays even and your hat looks great for longer.
